I have just forwarded to you an article regarding two new DOK chapters
chartered in Barahona, Dominican Republic, during our July 10-17 VBS Mission
Trip, sponsored by the Clearwater Deanery, Diocese of Southwest Florida, and
by the Dominican Development Group. Pictures of this occasion are attached
to this document. Certainly we hope this information and accompanying
pictures will arrive in time for inclusion in the next issue of your
respective publications.
This was a
most exciting Mission Trip, blessed with the power of God’s healing touch to
the heart, mind and soul of all who were there. Our greatest blessing came
from seeing the power of God moving in our daily routine, in the minutiae of
life, providing for our every need.
I will also
forward to you another article concerning Holy Name’s anniversary at Good
Shepherd, Dunedin , this past May, celebrating our first year of
re-awakening. Our chapter growth has been powered by prayer, faith and
action! God is good and faithful!
